So, I made a little thing for my friend’s cottage up in Maine…she has a sweet little bathroom off the great room and, well, she wants to keep it sweet, if you know what I mean. So how to politely tell guests to “do your business upstairs?”

I love the shape and size of this little pewter antique tray…only 3″ round and perfect for her punny statement. Keeping the letters the base metal was a test of wills…I realized quickly that that I am not cut out for miniature painting.
