As I look back on 2018, I can’t help but reflect on what an amazing year it has been. On the family front, we enjoyed lots of family time, celebrated many successes with dance, and began chipping away at the big old barn renovation. Somehow, between work travel, dance schedules, and budding social calendars, we still made time for gathering around the dinner table several times a week for lively debate or to share the latest funny memes.
On the work front, I have so enjoyed the creative and inspiring jobs given to me this past year. I created over 200 pieces between Thanksgiving and New Years! Some pieces have been pure fun (lots of birds!) and others have been painted through misty eyes…so deep with meaning. I’ve met so many great people through craft shows, fundraising events and parties. I’ve teamed up with the coolest little store, (Mad Mama Vintage…check it out!) in my old home town. I’ve even overcome my fear of ripping wood on the table saw!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to do what I love. I hope that as you look back on your year, you’ve enjoyed more happiness than sorrow, more health and wealth than strife, and quality time with family and friends. Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy New Year.
